My educational background is diverse and well rounded and has assisted me in being a good listener for all of my clients.  

 

   I attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Education in 1995.  One of my passions is the creativity of writing and being able to share the stories of people's lives which shape our bodies and minds.

   I continued my education in bodywork by attending school as a Physical Therapy Technician and working in the physical therapy field allowed me the ability to see how people move in their daily lives.  

​

   I pursued my educational training in massage therapy in 2001 at the Desert Institute of Healing Arts in Tucson, AZ graduating with a certification in Massage Therapy with a 1,000 hour educational background.  I have been working with clients in massage and bodywork since 2001.

​

   I continued my educational training in bodywork by gaining additional certifications in the following areas:

​

    Certified CranioSacral Therapist December 2009. The training required    200 hours of classroom skills and hands-on practice.  I studied with Dr. Maureen Schwehr, NMD at Heartwood Insitute in Tucson,AZ.

    Certified Reiki Master Teacher December 2008 studying with Marsha Craven at Healing Arts Connection in Phoenix, AZ
